At our coordinating institution TAU, the Marcus Pessa Summer School "New Frontiers in Optical Technologies" is finishing today. During the week long event, PhD students Hossein Fathi and Iuliia Zalesskaia from the V4F team presented their work in a poster session. Hossein presented his work on "Coherent Beam Combining of Optical Vortices", while Iuliia showed results from experiments with a "Radially polarized picosecond MOPA system based on double clad ytterbium-doped spun fiber with ring-shaped active core". We are excited about these early results, and are looking forward to more!
